My Story and My Art!
My name is Rebecca. My story really isn't that remarkable, except maybe the part where I figured out how to make this website. I just fumbled through it until I got it right. My primary role in life, like a lot of women, is being a wife and mother. I have two boys, so scrapbooking gives me a great outlet to play with lace, ribbons and other "Girly" stuff. I have always loved art. I have tinkered with almost every sort of craft that is out there. I went to school at our local Community College and studied art. Half way through to an associate degree I opted to study computer art. I learned Photoshop, Illustrator, Director, and a few other programs. Photoshop is my favorite of course. If you have it I know you love it too. Shortly after graduating I discovered I was going to have my second child. He was born with some problems, and later we would learn he had autism. (But he is such a great kid, I know you would love him!) I became a stay at home Mom. It was smart for a lot of reasons. Paying daycare for two kids, especially during the summer, just didn't seem logical. Why work all week just to give away a paycheck to someone who could never love my kids as much as me. I think it has paid off investing time in my children. My oldest son frequents the honor role ( gotta brag a little), and my special needs child is making great strides. Things have always been tight financially, but this new economy has me grasping for straws like most of America. I decided to put the money down, buy the software I needed, and finally make my education show some value to my family. It seemed natural for me to design scrapbook pages, since I love to scrap and I could use my designs for my own scrapbook too. I really tried to create the sort of images I always wanted to find in the craft store. I am only profiting from my ads, so if you are interested in them please click.
